The Genealogical Forum of Oregon (GFO) is opening their new Southeast Location in the Historic Ford Building 2505 SE 11th Ave in Portland. To celebrate they will be offering slew of classes and free admission to the library during their opening month, September 10-October 8th, 2011.

The GFO library contains over 32,000 volumes as well as special collections related to genealogical topics.  The library is staffed entirely by volunteers who can help you find resources, start research, or break down brick walls.  It is the largest genealogy library between Seattle and San Francisco.
