Salem’s Heritage Businesses
A portrait of Salem would not be complete without understanding that this community is filled with citizens with a vision to see what the future will demand and go into business to provide it. Salem is a gathering place for commerce, agriculture, and government. Salem has many businesses with have lasted the test of time for 15 to 100 years. These businesses have invested in the community and remain a part of efforts to improve Salem’s well being.
